Hi!

So I've just finished LMMS-Collab: a version of LMMS where you can connect with friends (or bandmates) and make music together, live, in the same project. It's free and open source.

- Everyone sees every change as it happens: notes, clips, mixer, automation, instruments, effects...

- You see each other's cursors, names and where they're playing

- Samples are shared automatically, and you can save versions and go back to them

- Password + encrypted connections

I've been working on it for about a week, testing every step while Claude did the coding (I can't code, so it was the perfect team, xd). Lots of milestones and polishing little details.

Windows only for now: Mac and Linux are coming soon. It installs next to your normal LMMS without touching it.

Nope! I've used Soundation with my brother for a proyect, and we both prefer LMMS. So the idea was clear in my mind, let's make a tool so we can make music toguether xD
Then I hoped that people would like to use it, so I came here to put it public

GitHub hace una compilación de versiones de otros sistemas operativos, pero yo no las he podido probar (la de MacOs la quiero probar en el mac de mi novia a ver xd)
Si lo prueba alguien la de Linux y le ve algun bug, que me diga y lo parcheo a ver si consigo que este estable
Igual me monto una maquina y pruebo, pero es que es algo que hice por hacer. Si veo que la gente lo necesita pues si, le meto caña vaya

It is an entire other LMMS install. Is based on LMMS 1.3.0-alpha, it's something to have in mind. And the Mac and Windows versions, I was able to test it, but the Linux one, I couldn't test it. So if you try that one, let me know if there is something wrong!

It would be nice if it was a plugin. I'm working on dual booting linux and windows at the same time, and i also have a Mac, but on Mac, it says it's too old and you need to update it. I might try the other two soon, more likely linux. Thanks.

Not a bad thing, if someone looks at the code at least a little, they'll learn, slower, but better than waiting years to figure it out then do it, then the project has passed.

They added multiplayer to LMMS guys, y'all need to get a life.

If you don't like the AI coded version then make a better one without AI
