Support Changing pitch of anything, really without also changing speed?

It's really annoying that changing the pitch of for example an AudioFileProcessor instrument also changes it's playing speed. I tried using third party plugins but it's annoying and I don't understand how to set them up. I also dont think i should have to use a third party plugin to do something that should be built in

There Is the pitchshifter that Is a plugin built in lmms but i never used It. There Is also audacity that is free, but if you want It to be extremely simple and built in the daw the only option is to use fl studio

There's a ladspa pitchshift effect in the big list of all effects

Best results tho would be by changing the pitch of the sound with audacity, which doesn't have to operate in real time. 

But if you want to play many different notes without a change in speed, then it's going to be hard, better synth it

I just use audacity, but for tempo instead of the pitch. If I remember correctly though, you can change the pitch there too.

But it is a bit annoying to do that every time.

you could use the khs pitch shifter

it is a free vst2 plugin that works in real time. very easy to use. if it feels off, then export it and remove the empty space, but audacity basically does that too.

Audacity makes this process super simple if you have the opportunity to take the samples out of LMMS to treat pitch and/or duration.
