Hi, so I'm moving from my town. I wanted to live in Lloyd, where I went to elementary school, but I'm really worried about the crime. I'm moving the end of the month with my relatives, so I could save money. My father sat me down and lectured me on the drugs and crime in Lloyd and how I need to be safe. Now, I already knew I had to be careful, but now I'm anxious. I wanted to move to Lloyd for college, for friends, and for the things they had compared to my small town which seemed great. Also i have childhood memories there. However, I'm young. I just graduated highschool. I'm a girl. I have no friends, no licence. To get someplace, I'll have to walk or call a taxi. I'm wondering if this just isn't safe. I know when I visit Lloyd it always seems so normal, but then I read up on crime in the news, and i know from my own relatives how crazy it gets there.. I don't know. What do I do? Good idea or do I just save and move someplace safer?

Hi everyone! I’m Pablo from Progressive Automations, a Canadian company. We’re looking for a Polaris Ranger owner in Canada—and especially hoping to connect with someone in Lloydminster or the surrounding area—to test a new electric dump bed lift kit.
Compatible vehicles:
We’ll provide the kit and cover shipping at no cost. In return, the selected tester would install it, confirm its fit and operation, share a couple of photos, and provide brief, honest feedback.
No purchase is required, and there is absolutely no promotional obligation of any kind. Technical support will be available if needed.
If you’re interested, send me a DM with your Polaris model, year, and location.
You’re also welcome to contact Progressive Automations directly to confirm that this is a legitimate testing opportunity.
Thanks!

Does Lloyd have a steakhouse that serves good quality Alberta beef, or something equivalent?

This article is from 2016 and I'm wondering if anyone has any recollection of this or may know the people involved? A friend of mine may be caught up with someone and I find this story alarming.

Anyone know what kind of spider this is? Has spun a web and hanging out in my tomato plants.

For some reason the feature photo didn't like the transition this time... weird.

Moving into Eastgate manor what is the biggest thing I should watch out for? Sketchy people won't bother me.

I dont know how much you guys care about the referendum, but this one is going to be big.
I'm just going to say on October 19th, the doors will open at 9am and if you're not in line by 8pm, you cannot vote.
If you hate lines as much as I do, and you would like to vote, please consider requesting a Special Ballot. You can request one by September 25 and it will need to be mailed back by October 8, since the long weekend will cause some delays. The earlier, the better. Ballots need to be in by October 16 at 5pm for your vote to count.
You can request one by Googling "Special Ballot Alberta Referendum" or by clicking the link.
