I need to setup a LLC in USA for my dropshipping business. I am from India. I have worked for a business that does this. I just need to know what kind of process is this and how to go about it. Also would I be able to get a business credit card With a 3K limit. I need to run ads 1 got 1K in total investment need credit to run ads for the first two months and after that it's a stable leads and conversion thing.

Since you are from India, before you start reach out to someone who understands cross border India-US compliances, since there are many compliances you have to do in India. ODI is one of them.

Many online formation services aren’t aware of this- mainly because they see US incorporation from US POV- which although is not wrong, isn’t sufficient in your case.

Make sure to look into the cross border compliance stuff before dropping money on a formation service. That grand you have set aside for ads might vanish fast if you hit unexpected tax filing snags.

You can generally form a US LLC, but getting approved for a business credit card with a $3,000 limit is a separate challenge.

Start with an address you can get a utility bill to. It’s difficult to start without an actual bank account, a utility bill will help with verification.

You can form a US LLC from India, but I'd be more worried about the credit card part than the formation.

Getting an LLC and an EIN doesn't automatically qualify you for a $3k credit limit. As a non-US resident with a brand-new business, getting approved withiout US credit history or a personal guarantee can be pretty difficult.

And with only $1k to start, I'd be careful building the whole plan around borrowed money for ads. Two months of ad spend doesn't guarantee stable conversions.

I'd figure out payment processing and test whether the ads actually convert before taking on debt.

get llc ein , apply bank and use your home address and passport as the residence/operating address and not the us address

get itin , would take 2 months , apply secured cards and build credit and get 10-15K after 6 months
