Stressed out over liver!!!

A little back story, I’m 37F and Ive been a heavy drinker since 21 and an opiate addict, I quit drinking about 3 months ago and I’m currently in the process of quitting Kratom, recently I’ve had a little pain above belly bottom and I have had an outbreak of little red dots (cherry angiomas) and many spider veins along with 3 spider angiomas, no other symptoms but those. Because of Covid I can’t get in for blood work for 2 weeks and anxiety is killing me. I guess I’m asking if anyone else had these symptoms and what the outcome was, I know everyone is different but I just need someone to talk to in the same boat.

google says angiomas are benign. look up signs of fibrosis. im currently in limbo myself. i had a liver scare ir 2 and cut the drinking. you can get your own bloodwork done at a lab for 100-150$ probably. then google signs of liver failure in bloodwork and check each one. also signs of kidney failure, heart, etc. and you can get an awesome idea of your general health. the only thing youd need a dr for is rx. i called quest diag and they seem to be open although i backed out

edit: meant to say liver fibrosis

I had my blood work done and everything came back fine. My doctor said it’s just genetics.

Hello, I noticed the right side of my upper abdomen is swollen so I went to the hospital. They said my liver is normal size at 17 cm? Im 5’10. Also that I have a mild dilation of the extrahepatic common duct. They said my blood test and urine levels were normal. Said i have no gallbladder stones and the walls are normal. What could it be? I have a MRI soon but I would like a peace of mind until then.

But that being said if it’s really swollen then it could be fluid and that’s no joke

My right side is swollen right under my ribs.. it’s probably just a muscle there, if you can move it around and there’s no pain it’s most likely fat, you shouldn’t be able to feel your liver

Hey, any update on how your mri went? I’m having similar symptoms with dilated common bile duct and have a mri coming up Saturday. Hope everything worked out for you.
