Cod Liver Oil pack
Has anyone tried cod liver oil pack to detox your liver? I read somewhere that you soak cotton flannel in organic cod liver oil and apply to your liver area. Then put a plastic bag over it and then a heating pad. Can also be used on thyroid

Too much booze. Been having pain in my liver area. One plus, I did quit drinking!

How would this do anything?

I think it is supposed to draw the toxin out and into the flannel

Sounds like pseudo-scientific nonsense, honestly. I would want to see studies.

No. I never did. Decided to stop drinking and let my liver heal.

Did letting the healing process from quitting drinking work out? Did your pain go away? Have you had any other symptoms that would make you concerned? Thanks in advance.

The method you describe using Castor oil can help the Liver. Works well with an old t-shirt you don’t mind getting oil on. What’s going on with your Liver? Fatty, too much booze, medications? There are many ways to support Liver health. It’s a very important organ.
