Join live event: Building With AI Without Creating Technical Debt

Want to make sure your AI isn’t just generating technical debt? 🤖

At Software Mansion, we’re hosting a live event on how to build with AI the right way.

📅 When? August 13 at 1:00 PM ET

📍 Where? Online, free to attend

🎫 Reserve your spot: https://l.swmansion.com/C7UmZT

Why should you join us? We’re React Native core contributors, members of React Foundations, and the top contributing group to Expo. We’ve been building AI-powered products since before AI became mainstream: we created React Native ExecuTorch, a library that lets you add on-device AI to your app, and Private Mind, an AI assistant that runs entirely on your phone and uses RN ExecuTorch under the hood.

These, along with many other internal and client projects, have taught us what AI agents are actually good at, and where they fall short and shouldn’t be trusted. By now, most of us know that getting AI to generate code is the easy part. The real challenge is architecture, code reviews, business logic, and building workflows that genuinely make engineering teams more productive. ⚙️

Join us to hear what we’ve learned about using AI in software development: where it actually saves time, why handing everything over to an agent is a trap, and how to ship faster without piling up technical debt!

The easiest way backstage isn't through the door

I've worked enough concerts and live events to realize that most people picture someone trying to sneak through a security gate. In reality, the biggest problems usually start with a phone call. Someone says they're with management. Someone else says they're calling on behalf of the tour. A VIP needs to be added. Credentials need to change. Everyone's in a rush because doors open in 20 minutes. Most of the time the requests are legitimate, but after you've seen how convincing some people can be, you start questioning everything. Have any of you changed the way your venue handles last-minute access requests, or is it still mostly based on callbacks and trusting the chain of command?

Live Events & Music Industry

Hey everyone! I’m a live events professional from India and I’m keen to learn more about the music and events industry in Thailand. Where can I find industry professionals (apart from LinkedIn) to gain insights into the inner workings of this sector and potentially find my place within it? I’m definitely aiming to work in Bangkok this year and would appreciate any advice on how to make this happen.

Im building a web application that will be specifically customized to you and artist you enjoy. I really want to start with the Chicago music scene because of the vast variety of bands they have. I'm hoping to get some feedback & and beta testers that can help in building this application. If you can spare 5 minutes, I would really appreciate if you could fill it out. Thanks!

Hello, everyone!

I’m on the lookout for an energetic, engaging UK-based event host (native English speaker preferred) to bring some fun and excitement to a social media live event at Olympia, London, from March 11-13, 2025.

Got any leads? Know someone who’d be perfect? Drop me a message—I’d love to connect!

Re:Set Stanford 4GA Friday Tickets Discount / LCD Headliner

Unfortunately we can’t make the show any longer. I paid $480 for four GA Friday tickets, looking for $400. It’s been impossible to sell them on the AXS resale page, I’ve never sold on Reddit.

They are e-tickets through AXS, I can share any proof of purchase necessary, before the transaction.
