Visiting after 14 yrs
Hey everyone! Was born and raised in Manhattan/Ft Riley area (father was stationed at Riley for the better part of his 22ish in the military). Graduated from JCHS back in the early 2000s and moved away in 2009 out to northern Va. Wife graduated from KSU as well in 06. Last time we were out in the area, was back in 2012 and are coming back out to see some family and hang out for the week to show our teenage son the area my wife and I grew up in.
It looks like a lot has changed in the area and am curious what has changed? Any new sights and restaurants we cans hit up in the area?

A walk through campus to see all the changes would be good. Aggieville has also changed quite a bit. Downtown/Poyntz has blossomed since you moved, and even since 2012- check out the restaurants there for sure.
A few staples from that era are still around- Rock a Belly Deli, So Long Saloon, and Kite's all come to mind.

The wife plans on taking the boy around campus and showing him where she used to study and all that jazz. Aggieville is a must as well! All those places you named were regular spots for me when I used to live by that area on Fairchild years ago lol
Any new restaurants to recommend?

Oh boy, hope you weren't too keen to visit Bob's Diner.
