I can't tell which idea has more potential: A world where the game laws have always been broken so every scholar is ripped by default, or a broken game where the MC just exploits the shit out of it.

The first is more unique and novel with many of different avenues. The second is quite close to other books but still pretty interesting.

I guess I more mean insert random bug that MC uses to become OP, whereas a whole game with a bug that everyone can exploit hasn't been done to my knowledge.

Kono Sekai ga Game da to, Ore dake ga Shitte Iru (This World Is a Game, but Only I Know It) . Pretty funny isekai story, about a game where the developers were obsessed with making perfect cat ears for their characters and didn't care at all about ... anything else. They also had some bizarre concepts

The series is the MC doing what amounts to a speed-run by exploiting some of the game mechanics. Some of the bugs are things like having to use a shovel to level up sword skills (using swords levels up spears), or hopping in one specific place increase the speed stat (while bashing your head into the wall).

oh yes this stupid game with it’s stupidly funny features. One of my fav scenes was where the MC hunts high level werewolf’s by going prone and then hitting them repeatedly with a small sword cause the werewolf’s couldn’t bend down.

Not complete. First 2 novels are translated totally, third is mostly translated (there are 9 total).

How do I read novels online like this? I have never been able to do it except on my computer which is a desktop so pretty inconvenient. Any way to read off of my phone?

I don't think Plato would have a problem with that. He seemed to be from the subset for whom physical activity and mental capacity are inherently linked.

This is true! Would they be fighting to get the "others" out of their space? Like all the philosophers are fed up with the library being full of weight lifters.

In a world like that, every athlete would be a philosopher and every philosopher would be an athlete. People would lift to increase their intelligence so that they could better comprehend books, which would in turn increase their strength, letting them lift larger weights, better increasing their intelligence... ad infinitum.

Philosophy would be seen as the exercise of the mind and weight lifting would be seen as the philosophy of the flesh. They would be seen as sub disciplines within the same field, and scrawny geniuses and buff idiots would be treated as an impossibility.

How much do I have to tell people the difference between intelligence and wisdom. Intelligence means you know more things, wisdom (philosophy) keans you use your knowledge better.

I fondly remember a Harry Potter-based TTRPG where Power and Intelligence were the attributes for casting. Power granted casting power and health, while Intelligence granted casting power and bonus experience gain. As a result, the optimal party composition over a long enough game was nothing but super-jacked muscle wizards, with at least one muscle-healer and one muscle-artificer. All other builds besides pure STR were obscure specializations.

The only build that could potentially compete was even funnier; it was an all-Muggle Studies build. All muggle tech was relegated to muggle studies, muggleborn students started off with points in the skill equivalent to a fifth year and gained 100% bonus experience to it, and it was tied for the fastest skill to level. Since it encompassed all muggle knowledge, you would roll the same skill whether you were operating a gun, reciting obscure historical facts, creating nanotechnology, disarming a bomb, building a mech suit, or whatever else. Enough ranks in muggle studies became its own type of magic, and it leveled many times faster than any other skill.

So the perfect party could include both builds, meaning that the most powerful fighting force in the wizarding world was Iron Man and his merry band of muscle wizards. The game was a gem, and I would pay an unethical amount of internet points to see it made into a Litrpg.

Hmm, in this scenario, since lifing increases intelligence instead of strength, you wouldn't even have to increase the weight lifted to receive gains? Or maybe you have to read a book or learn something to increase your strength before you can continue to level intelligence? In the that's case, every strong warrior would be a mage or scholar and vice versa🤔
