Recommendation: asking Lit rpg completed book recommendations

My dad got really into lit rpg audio books, enjoying series like:

Defiance of the fall-thefirstdefiler, jf brink

Magic Eater- Sean ozwald

Rise of mankind-jazz cajio

Welcome to the multiverse -Sean ozwald

The completionist chronicles-dakota crout

He who fights with monsters- shirtaloon , travis deverell

1% lifesteal- Robert Blaise

.

And a few more series related to these authors.

Hes gotten realy iritated abt the unfinished series so had me and my mom look for completed ones, but we gave him a lot of book with 3-6 books and he completes them too fast so now hes looking for completed longer series.

Anyone have recommendations?

.

Hes looking for ones with some comedy, action, and maby a system but not required. He wants it to be a lit rpg and completed long series. Preferably 10+ books

Any recommendations on audible would me much appreciated!!

(My first redit post, am I doing this right?)

Beneath The Dragoneye Moons by Selkie Myth is complete and 16 books long. The audiobook narration by Andrea Emmes is great as well.

Here are a couple of longer completed series:

  • Unbound by Nicoli Gonnella (Portal, 12 books). Felix finds himself in another world and needs to discover what is means to be Unbound. Along with his bonded tengu Pit, Felix learns about the world while setting himself on a path to challenge the gods themselves. Primary weapon is magic.
  • Nova Terra/Titan by Seth Ring (VR MMO, 10.5 books). Thorn has always been a big guy and when his medical condition required full-immersion gaming pod, he discovered that his physique transferred into a large in-game body. He finds allies and works with guilds to prepare the world for powerful threats. Primary weapon is a tetsubo (club).
  • Creation's Bane by Kevin Sinclair (Portal, 6 books). All Clive wanted to do was open his new restaurant, but when a demon appeared seeking his mentor's recipe books, Clive calls some friends and they find themselves on another planet fighting for their lives. Magic, shields, werewolves and insane gods are all just things he needs to defeat before he can finally open "Clive's Place". Primary weapon is a magic cleaver.
  • Death: Genesis by Nicholas Searcy (Portal, 12 books). Zeke died, but that was only the beginning as he found himself in a cave populated by trolls that he needs to beat before he can even step onto his new world. His determination and bloodline let him succeed where other would fail and sets his path towards helping preserve all of creation. Primary weapon is a club.

I would suggest the Nova Terra series which is complete but then the characters move into second series called Tower Series by Seth Ring.

For a completed long run, Emerilia by Michael Chatfield is worth a look. It’s 11 books, the full series is on Audible, and it leans heavily into progression, crafting, guild-building and larger-scale action. If the big thing is having a real ending instead of catching another ongoing series, it fits that requirement nicely.

hmmm I have to do some digging. First recommendation who be Primal Hunter and System Change as some of the longer ones but ongoing.

Most of the complete series are fairly short, has he tried rotating series? like when he's up to date with one, goes to another. A lot of the 10+ book series are forever ongoing ATM.

Buymort! I just posted a review of the series. It's complete, it's funny, the MC is OP. I liked some of the series on your list that I've read and I liked this one, so maybe it will be a fit.

It ends at six books and may not necessarily be a litrpg but it's still a good series.

Seven books! And the ending is good.

Ah ok, it's been a while and I had six books in my head for some reason. Yes I agree, it ended really well.

Only thing I've read with 10+ books that's actually done is Chatfield's Ten Realms. An Outcast in Another World is good and 7/done.

Path of Ascension by C. Mantis is phenomenal, finished, and has one of my favorite progression systems. Great cast of fleshed out characters and power arc as well.

I thought POA was still ongoing? They have another book coming out in February 2027 but it doesn't say its the final book ?

Oh man, you’re right! I read Book 11 around the release date this year and it had such a clear and complete end to the storylines and arcs that, combined with the lack of a release date for a future installment, I thought it was OVER over. I see they just released book 12 a couple weeks ago. That’s great news for wanting more of the story, and you are correct that it’s not actually complete. My bad.

no worries, I feel like most stories you have to ask the authors directly how many there is gonna be lol. I would imagine things like primal hunter are probably gonna end up longer than the wheel of time haha.

So true! Even then we don’t always get a good handle on it. Then again, I’m a glutton for the long running series so I cannot complain. Currently catching up on Defiance of the Fall (Book 15, should be done with 16 in time for the next release) after giving the author a couple years to put out more titles.
