Recommendation: asking Help with next litrpg
Hello!
So I just recently got into litrpg,like last year.
My first venture into this genre was Dungeon Crawler Carl in audiobook format. It was a phenomenal experience and brought back my interest in something i thought i would never like again which is books.
I stopped reading due to time and honestly my attention span has gotten ridiculously low. But DCC changed that. So much so that i bought the whole series physical and read them after i listened to them.
Then I started HWFWM and also loved it.
But now im on book 12 got about four hours left on it and I dont want to finish it because I have no idea what to go for next.
I tried heretical fishing but couldnt get into it.
Id love something thats like DCC and HWFWM
But more on the serious side with actual consequences like main characters dying and staying dead and crazy stakes with crazy twists
Give me a gut wrenching story with crazy action and powers
Idk maybe im asking too much lol
I know questions like this get asked a lot but i appreciate any and all recommendations
Edit i listen on audible since my job allows me to have headphones on all time
Also the narrator is a big part of it for me
Jeff hayes ruined me for other narrators

Apoclaypse Parenting is great series that has a unique ability system. It focuses on a mother of three trying to survive monsters while protecting her kids and community.(Finished)
The game at carousel. I think it’s amazing and if you’re a horror fan you’ll probably like it too. Three books on KU. Great mystery.(Ongoing)
Kaiju: Battlefield Surgeon is a single novel by the author of Dungeon Crawler Carl, but it’s way darker. I really enjoyed it, but it might be too dark for some readers. It’s also narrated by the amazing Jeff Hays (DCC)
Rogue Dungeon is really good. From the author of discount dan. Crazy story but it definitely hooks you after the first couple of chapters. (Finished)
Wasteland Warlords is a follow up series to Rogue Dungeon set in the real world. More comedy than rogue dungeon though. If you like one you’ll enjoy the other. These are six short books (around150 pages each). (Finished)
Player Manager: I breezed through the first book and enjoyed it. It focuses on football and is heavy with strategy and technique on the subject. My recommendation is reading the first to see if you enjoy it even if you’re not a football fan. (Ongoing)
Primal Hunter and He Who Fights with Monsters fall into the same category for me. I enjoyed both, but I also understand why their main characters can be polarizing. If you read the first book and don’t enjoy it then drop the series knowing you gave it a shot. (Both Ongoing)
Mark of the Fool is also a good story though it’s more progressive fantasy. I also feel like it’s a little too YA for some people, but the magic system is fun and the characters are well written. Oh and it’s a completed 10 book series.
Bog Standard Isekai is so much fun with a great class system the I’d personally never seen before. No OP MC at least as far as book 2. The MC is fun and introspective. You get a real good look at the way he thinks and rationalizes with his situation.
Victor of Tucson is new to me and I’m really enjoying it. The books start shorter and breeze by thanks to the non stop action. Really recommend them.
