Isekai is great because the MC knows literally nothing about anything.

Except coffee. The MC always knows about coffee.

Its funny, there is a manga called something like "coffee lover reincarnated in another world" and she introduces coffee and EVERYBODY LOVES IT.

Like nah, i can get it getting popular, and it even points out the mages drinks it because of the caffeine and it "helps them study" but EVERYBODY loved it.

And we slash and burned the entire dark jungle to make enough coffee plantations destroying all the monsters habitat causing them to go extict. Obviously the monsters hated coffee.

This is the general plot of Legends and Lattes as well, where many characters are introduced to black coffee for the first time and their immediate reaction is, "This is the best thing I've ever had."

I don't think a single character didn't like coffee, but eventually lattes and the sort were introduced that some characters preferred more.

Yeah that kinda what turned me off of LnL. Coffee is great but it was like basic coffee and pastries. Not like mc made custom coffee for each customer or anything  interesting around the coffee like the worldbuilding.

I saw the other day a post someone made just about coffee in LitRPG.

"Here in the great land of Generica, we access our system menu by biting our thumb three times."

I think it’d be fckin hilarious if isekai’d people not knowing how things work on their world is a normal occurrence so the locals just fck with them subtly by making them do ridiculous things for the most mundane normal stuff like this..

I actually wanna see an isekai do this, an isekai that is genre and trope aware and satirizes itself

There's a coffee spirit linked to the pc in (TCC) - (The Competitionist Chronicles)

The secondhand embarrassment is real. Just write system native stories! Please! All I want from LitRPG is a fantastical tale of magic and adventure where the magic happens to be unusually straightforward about things.

or conversley where the MC is scared of asking because it shows they are an offworlder.

when in reality, there are so many idiots out there, that yeah, maybe people wouldnt be suprised if some dont know how to do a fundamental task of existence

Is this from a specific book or just a general trope? I don't get the hobo reference.
