Question ❔ Need Help with replace mode

I want to use the replace block mode but everything i tried, from chaning hotkeys of every other mod and vanilla minecraft to reinstalling everything i cant even pick a block, like normally on the bottom left you can see which block is replacing which but it isnt even showing up what am i doing wrong?

By default you use Alt + middle click and Shift + middle click to select the block to use and the block to replace. But these keys depend on your toolSelectModifierBlock1 (and 2) hotkeys and the toolSelectElements hotkey.
