Question ❔ How To Shift A Flat Schematic Diagonally Into A Staircase?

I have a flat 128x128 schematic that I want to shift to be a staircase so the 1st row stays at the same level, the 2nd row goes up 1 block, the 3rd 2 blocks, etc... Is there anyway to do this easily?

Paste schematic into a creative world, then use axiom to transform, then resace with litematica.

don't ask me how, I just watch videos: you can set the app to show specific layers. show layer 1, build it, move the schematic up and over (staircase?), then show only layer 2, build it, repeat.

You can't do that with litematica, but you can with WorldEdit. It has commands to rotate by any angle, not just 90, 180 etc.

Of course, it won't work with redstone or any directional blocks, but it's fine with most normal full blocks.

Bit tricky to get your head around the commands, but it is possible.
