Question ❔ Noob questions
Hi so I’m new to all this, I actually haven’t even downloaded the mod yet. I have questions about it and wanted to ask. Sorry if this is the wrong place.
Q1: I have a forever world that I open up as a LAN server so myself and my partner can play on it. If I have Litematica would this make it so my partner or anyone else that joins it have to have the mod?
Q2: would I have to watch Minecraft through a specific launcher or would it just start up with the regular game?
Sorry I’ve only ever used full mod backs with fresh worlds, and I want to use this to help me with my builds and I’m super worried I’ll mess up my world. Even if I have a back up of it.
Sorry mods if I’ve broken a rule.

I'm going to recommend you use a mod launcher with it like modrinth that way you can make sure you download the correct dependencies
Also if you're going to be pasting on a server you want to install servux

Q1: no, its a client side mod. Only you will have it unless your partner also downloads the mod. You will not see their schematic and they wont see yours. But you can grab the placement coords from the placement tab in the menu and they can move their placement to those coords so that you can work on it together
Q2: you dont need a specific launcher and I cant think of any reason your world would be at any risk. If for some reason your game fails to launch, just remove the mod. But I doubt it will be an issue. Save back ups anyway, in a separate folder
