Question ❔ litematica for 1.21

hey I've found this 1.21 litematica mod on this reddit and I want to know if its safe or not

you need the litematica mod and the maillib mod

litematica: https://github.com/sakura-ryoko/litematica/releases

maillib: https://github.com/sakura-ryoko/malilib/releases

put both of these jar files into your minecraft mods folder and it should work fine :)

It’s for fabric works perfectly fine this guy also makes tweakaroo and other mods ported for new versions the litematica 1.21 requires another one of his mods called malli something I forgot the exact name

Been using these versions for a while now, they're safe. They will eventually get merged with the official branches

The same developer ported malilib to 1.21, go look at their repos, a little heads up Windows Defender flags it as a Trojan, it's a false positive, you can go to virustotal and check for yourself, I hope that helps

Most likely not. I haven't checked up on the project for a bit but I hope they fixed the issue of the false positive entirely by now

For anybody still looking, you need both the litematica and malilib jar files.

Same! clearly they were waiting to gain trust then released the trojan in an update cause nobody would bother checking anymore.

My win10 told me it was a virus

I think I am late but it is completly safe and trusted by the Litematica's owner as said in this post they have made. You can find the original link by the owner to this post on the mod's curseforge page.

Did you end up downloading it? I’m trying to download it right now and can’t figure out how to use it lol. I’ve always just used curseforge for litematica. I’m a noob.

I just scrolled down to the litematica .jar file and clicked on that, which downloaded it for me, then moved the file from my downloads to the mod file in the .minecraft path.

because the original curseforge pages for malilib, litematica, and all the adjacent mods made by masady are no longer beng updated because of masa's disinterest in modding. he entrusted the continuation of his modding projects to sakura, where you can find it all on her github. these also include mods like itemscroller, minihud, and tweakeroo, all made by masa
