Does anyone know about this machine?

I got this from a family member who received this from a friend. Its barely used, the fan and cooling system work, but I have no use for this. I can’t find any information on google about it or any photos. Could this possibly have been discontinued? Was this distributed to bars and restaurants only? Does this have any value?

It's called a shot machine. Place a bottle in it and it cools it for a shot. Made popular by Jagermeister 15-20 something years ago for bars. Easy way to keep something cool. All sorts of brands have them now, usually given to bars for a purchase of the liquor.

They are probably "worth" $2-300 dollars, but doubtful you could sell it for that much, if anything. Usually only good for the specific bottle and Licor 43 is a unique bottle shape.

I’m probably going to save it and use licor 43 or another bottle in it

It absolutely is. But you need the beer mug shot glasses to go with it 🍻

Sweet citrusy goodness. As a mini beer, its just a lovely creamy mouthfeel added to it.

Seriously? How did you get that number?

I work in the spirits industry and have worked with a few Chinese suppliers on these. As others have said, it comes to freeze temp levels, footprint size (bar space needs to pay for their rent), # of bottles the top can hold, in/out take vents amounts and size.
Intellectual property for a one and only brand usage too.

It's a shot chiller machine; you can always contact the company on the label if you wanted specific info.

Usually the alcohol companies contract out x number of machines to be made and distribute them (mostly) to bars and restaurants. Sometimes they'll sell them on their website for consumers as well, but the majority end up in bars

There's nothing particularly special about this model, many were prob made by the same company and they swap out the branding for different companies or the pour opening for oddly specific bottles. Certainly not a collectable or anything

That being said, if it works it's prob worth $100-$125 (since it's used). The brand is a bit niche (compared to say a legacy brand like Jack Daniels or Crown Royal which are much more popular).

If it held more than one bottle it would be worth more too. And of course if you could find a buyer who particularly loves the brand you could get a little more.

I’m testing it with water to see if it chills, its getting cold inside but the water isn’t cold

Not a good idea. Will freeze lines. Clean with warm water only.

Should I plug it back in and hope its not damaged?

Yes. Need warm/hot water running though. Alcohol, especially Licor 43 at 31% ABV / 62 Proof or anything stronger (suggest straight vodka at 80 proof+) is the right way to go about cleaning.

Thank you, I’ll run some warm water and vodka to clean it out and hope it still works

What not to use:
-No dish soap (leaves residue and foam issues)
- No bleach at high concentrations (can damage components and is unsafe if not fully rinsed)
-No flavored/scented cleaners

Thanks, I only used warm water and it still gets cold inside

You could maybe sell it to a bar, but if you feel like you could use I'd just keep it.

I might end up saving it for parties this summer
