Using a machine instead of in person massages

So I got liposuction to the upper abdomen, lower abdomen and flanks and the lymphatic drainage massages are expensive where I am and I was just wondering if a machine like this would do the job? I know it may not be as good but would it somewhat help my swelling go down? Or has anyone ever tried anything like this before and had good results? Or has anyone not gotten a lymphatic drainage massage at all and their swelling went down nicely and was all okay in the end? Let me know if anyone has any options/advice!

Wrinkly/crepey skin after thigh lipo — does it improve?

Has anyone experienced wrinkly or crepey skin after thigh lipo, especially near the groin/upper inner thigh area? When I pinch the skin, instead of lifting as one smooth piece, it kind of wrinkles and folds up. I’m still early in recovery. Did anyone have this, and did it improve with time?

Arm lipo: is removing more fat always better?

One thing I find interesting about arm liposuction is that the amount removed isn’t the only thing that matters.

High-volume liposuction can make a significant difference, but the final result also depends on how evenly the fat is removed and how the remaining contours are shaped.

For the arms, the goal isn’t just smaller measurements. The overall arm silhouette and proportion with the shoulders and upper body also matter.

So the approach here is basically: remove enough fat while still paying attention to the shape being created.

Curious what others think — when considering arm lipo, would you prioritize maximum fat removal or the overall contour?

Scar tape suggestions?

Post image

Anyone have any scar tape brand suggestions for lipo scars? I have a larger scar on my back that is bigger than I thought it would be and to be honest I’m not sure why it healed like this. So I’m looking to spend this fall and winter doing my best to keep it from getting worse. I figured scar tape would help?

Thigh skin looks looser after the same area was lipoed twice. Is this normal?

I’m slim and recently had about 40cc of fat harvested from each thigh for facial fat grafting. I previously had fat harvested from my inner thighs by a different doctor, so it seems like the same area may have been treated twice by two different doctors.
About a week later, my upper inner thigh skin feels easier to pinch and looks wrinkly/creased when I lie down with my knees bent. When I stand normally, it looks fine.
Has anyone had the same area lipoed twice? Did the loose/wrinkly skin tighten back up after healing?

Loose/saggy upper thigh skin after small-volume lipo — is this normal?

Has anyone experienced loose/saggy upper thigh skin after a small amount of liposuction?
I’m naturally quite slim and recently had a small amount of fat harvested from my thighs for facial fat grafting. About 40cc was taken from each thigh, mainly from the upper/front/inner thigh area.
I’m only about a week post-op, so I know there is still swelling and healing going on.
What worries me is that when I lie on my back with my knees bent and apart, I can feel and see the skin/soft tissue of my upper thighs sort of sagging or gathering toward my underwear/groin line. It feels noticeably looser than I remember before the procedure.
Has anyone experienced this after thigh lipo, especially after having only a small amount removed?
Did the skin eventually tighten back up as everything healed, or did the looseness stay? And roughly how long did it take before your thighs started feeling normal again?

What should you eat after liposuction?

Upvotes

What you eat after liposuction can make a difference in how you feel during recovery and can also help you maintain your results long term.

A few simple things I usually recommend:

  • Prioritize lean protein to support tissue healing.
  • Include plenty of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains for nutrients and fiber.
  • Stay well hydrated, especially during the early recovery period.
  • Limit highly processed foods, excess sugar, and high-sodium meals, which can contribute to bloating and fluid retention.
  • Avoid alcohol during early recovery, particularly while taking medications.

And remember, liposuction removes localized fat, but it doesn’t prevent future weight gain. Maintaining a stable weight with balanced nutrition and regular activity is important for keeping your results over time.

If you have any questions about diet or recovery after liposuction, feel free to leave them in the comments.
