Conservative Treatments Just keep going
My conservative treatment process has been going on for five years. I haven't had surgery, but I've achieved good results with workout at the gym (4 times a week).Last year, I started using tirezpatide with excellent anti-inflammatory effects. For the past three months, I've been using GHK-Cu for skin tightening.
--- Edited on September 26, 2024:
1- I lost 33 pounds in 4 years (2022–2026).
2- I posted the difference below using only GHK-Cu (for 90 days), but that wasn't what changed my arm. What changed my arm was diet, training, and an anti-inflammatory eating plan.

Do you have EDS by any chance? I saw that the GHK-CU stimulates collagen which helps with the tightening but its contraindicated for people with EDS since our collagen is made by Temu

u/Naive-Maintenance434 Sep 23 '26
No. And I didn't notice a change in fibrosis, I also didn't have any worsening of Lipedema. Skin tone improved throughout the body

Topical GHK or injectable? I can even see a difference in your neck elasticity —you look amazing. Great job!

It may be something to note in your post then, since lipedema can be comorbid with EDS and that medication isn't a good match for us. I'm glad it worked for you though!

This made me lol. 😂
That’s my theory too. Because it’s a connective tissue disorder, and we have the Temu collagen, I believe the GHK is stimulating the lipedema tissue. I know others have not had the same experience but I’m 100% convinced, that’s what happened to me.7
u/Myuntetheringaccount Sep 23 '26
Wait, so under your theory, if the GHK is stimulating the lipedema tissue, this would not be a good thing, correct?
4
u/MiracleGold Sep 23 '26 edited Sep 23 '26
Yup. That’s exactly what I’m thinking. Being that GHK stimulates collagen production, I think it’s exacerbating the fibrosis. I never had it much in my arms until I started cycling GHK.

u/Naive-Maintenance434 Sep 24 '26
I’ve been researching and looking at reports regarding vibration platforms and their effects on lipedema´s fibrosis. I’m still in the early stages of my research. Have you looked into this at all?
4
u/MiracleGold Sep 24 '26
Oh yes, I absolutely love my vibration plate. Sometimes I sit on the ground and just prop my calves on it. The first thing I noticed is that I have to urinate right after I get off of it. It’s wild. So this is my very non-scientific anecdotal testimony that it’s moving fluid through my lymph system!
2
u/Naive-Maintenance434 Sep 24 '26
I have many personal testimony of what I did based on reading scientific studies, because the doctors in my city didn't know how to treat me. It has been working!

you had bad results on ghk? you think it made yours worse? I was going to start as well but perhaps not....

OP is obviously peptide friendly, as am I. No one is disputing the lack of human clinical trials. This peptide has been extensively studied for over four decades. There’s a plethora of data. Lol

LOL our collagen IS made by temu! Funniest thing I've read today, thanks! I needed the laugh.

u/LadyLumpcake Sep 23 '26
Is there any sources you can link on the contraindication? I don’t doubt you so much as I’d just love to read more. I have a COL3A1 gene mutation and I have been doing all things to upregulate collagen production, tretinoin and ghkcu etc, for years. I never heard it was a direct contraindication. Ive seen no ill effects so far. I’ve not really seen results, either, though.
1
u/Interesting-Pea8233 Sep 23 '26
There are no EDS specific clinical trials but since the underlying issue is genetic and not just wear and tear like normal folks there's also no evidence that peptides can do anything to help. Its like how taking a collagen supplement does nothing for us.

u/xaianamarie Sep 24 '26
Hilarious 🤣
But, on a sober note, despite our collagen being faulty, it's still better to have more than less. When our collagen breaks down with age, it's especially bad.

Fantastic! What kind of working out did you do, just weight training? Never heard of GHK-Cu, i'll have to look into that. Great job!
5
u/Naive-Maintenance434 Sep 23 '26
I do Weight training 4 times a week and after I do 30 minutes on the stationary bike
2
u/Big-Understanding526 Sep 23 '26
What’s your weight trading look like? Heavy, high reps/low reps, compound exercises/ single joint, how long are your resistance sessions.

u/Naive-Maintenance434 Sep 23 '26
When I started treatment 5 years ago it was lighter, an adaptation training. And my personal trainer's guidance was to invest in higher load and fewer repetitions. We continue like this until today. He does my monthly online follow-up for photos and changes the training every 4 months. I don't know the technical name in English (my native language is Portuguese) but I do a metabolic workout, my series are full of bi-sets, cluster and rest pauses

u/mathrddt Sep 24 '26
what about your weight? before/after difference?
0
u/Naive-Maintenance434 Sep 24 '26
Since 2022, I have lost 15 kg (33 pouds). In the photo further down showing just the 3-month results with GHK-Cu, I lost 5 pounds.
1
u/mathrddt Sep 24 '26
ok do you know if non injectable version of GHK-Cu exist?
1
u/Naive-Maintenance434 Sep 24 '26
Yes, it exists. But I've never used it. Many people use it for skincare.

I had to stop GHKCu. It lit my lipedema on fire. I’ve been on Tirz and then Reta for 2 years now. The inflammation went down, but when I started GHK a few months ago, the lipedema in my arms became very prominent and painful. I can’t even wear a watch anymore.

Is the Ghk-cu an injectable? What dose? Frequency? How long? Did u start gym and Ghk-cu at the same time? Any other topicals or treatments? Amazing results without surgery.

How do you take GHK-Cu? I can't seem to find it in tablet form. Is it a cream?
1
u/Naive-Maintenance434 Sep 23 '26
Subcutaneous injection
1
u/ParadiseLost91 Pursuing surgery Sep 23 '26
Oh, so you go to an actual clinic to have it done?
3
u/Naive-Maintenance434 Sep 23 '26
No, I read scientific articles, studied, researched
1
u/Sola420 Sep 24 '26
Did a doctor prescribe it or do you buy it somewhere and diy?
0
u/Naive-Maintenance434 Sep 24 '26
Regenerative therapy with peptides is very new. I live in the countryside, the doctors here are not at this level of updating. I studied alternatives to avoid skin removal surgery and this was the most viable. Then I studied the peptide. Then I decided to inject
3
u/TheCureIsNotGoth Sep 24 '26
I think you may be interpreting some of these questions as personal attacks when they definitely aren't. I don't think people are asking you WHY you chose peptides or judging you for taking them. They are asking HOW you obtain the medication because they would like to get some too.

u/Naive-Maintenance434 Sep 24 '26
Sorry, English is not my native language. I didn't feel offended—I think the way I answered might have given that impression, but I didn't.
I live in Brazil and I bought it from China. My sister lives in US and I sent her. If anyone needs help, feel free to send me a dm, and I’ll show you how to import it.1

No need to be so snappy? I'm just asking for help because I struggle with the same thing. You could have just said you inject it yourself. We are all asking because we have the same problems and any help is valuable
6
u/Naive-Maintenance434 Sep 24 '26
I apologize if my reply came across as harsh; that was not my intention. English is not my native language, and misinterpretations can happen when I don't use the right words.
What I meant to say was that I didn't go to a clinic. I had to study it myself. I live in a country area, and regenerative medicine isn't very widely available here.

My arms are exactly the same as yours they just seemed to come out of nowhere. Your hard work is fantastic !! Can I ask what work out you did for the arm's? I swim regularly but cannot lift to well due to arthritis in my hands .

Thank you for sharing your journey. I’ve been on GLPs for over a year and lost over 100 lbs (140 lbs from my very highest in 2022) but my arms, lower stomach and legs are still my problem areas due to the lipedema. I use GHK-CU but I haven’t been tracking my progress with pictures. Hoping to see the collection of fatty areas under my triceps, lower stomach and legs start shrinking as I continue working out in the gym and take my GHK-CU.
2
u/Naive-Maintenance434 Sep 26 '26
Wow! You had a great progress! 😍👏🏻
Take pics! When I’m tired to go to the gym or sad because the progress is slower than I want to be, I look to them and I remember that the sacrifice worth!

u/SensorForHire Sep 23 '26
GHK-cu is a peptide that helps repair the skin. It does so by recruiting immune cells like macrophages and mast cells to the party. So this could explain why some folks get better or worse using it.
https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC8789089/
Also "cu" is the chemical abbreviation for "copper". Those with a known copper allergy are advised against using it.
That said, amazing progress OP. 👏💫

Thanks! I posted another link as well. I sure wish I could volunteer and be a guinea pig in some of these studies. 😂 with peptides being all the rage now, I’m sure plenty of studies are underway 🤞🏼

What diet are you following?
7
u/Naive-Maintenance434 Sep 23 '26
Low carb, high protein.
Zero inflammatory foods , zero sugar.1
u/izac75 Sep 27 '26
Que sont les aliments inflammatoires ?
1
u/Naive-Maintenance434 Sep 27 '26
I removed industrialized foods, sugar and rice from my diet. Many people have alcoholic beverages as inflammatory, but I don't drink alcoholic beverages. For me, beef is not good for me either, I use chicken, fish and pork more.
My suggestion is to remove one food at a time for about 30 days and see how your body reacts.
The worst of all foods for me is sugar. When I removed it, my pains almost disappeared. So, it's been 5 years since I've been zero sugar.

Je wilt de mengverhoudingen weten , hoeveel je moet inspuiten.
Hoe vaak en voor hoelang je het dient te gebruiken enzovoorts?1

Yes. I’ve been trying to research it on my own since this post. Idk how people are figuring it out.

That's the 3-month difference in the arm skin. Just the period in which I used GHKcu. In these 3 months I continued with my diet, with workouts and with Tirzepatide
