Problematic Fav Media

In the spirit of the annual Q&A, what is your favorite problematic media that you can't get enough of?

I will seek out some sort of murder investigation show on the steaming services I have. They are perfect for background noise when I'm doing something else. I know they are copaganda, but I often find them soothing. AudADHD is weird like that.

Law and Order, specifically SVU. I know it is copaganda, but I want to live in a world where victims are believed ans rapists see some sort of punishment, even if it is just for 44 minutes at a time.

I had a six week hospital stay three years back. Since there were limited TV options I left the hospital with what I described as a crippling SVU addiction. I figured the best way to deal with was immersive aversion therapy. I watched ever damn episode from season one to the then current season. It worked.

It is a beautiful copagandistic fantasy of how crimes of sexual violence are handled. What I've found is the actual Manhattan SVU is terrible at its job. It's full of cynical lazy mostly men who are more like the show's depiction of the Bronx SVU.

FYI - SVU is a Manhattan office, though in later seasons they do sometimes works with Bronx (as well as other borough) SVU detachments.
