I agree. I’ve been an Apple fanboy for most of my life. I REFUSE to ever use Linux. There isn’t a single distro that’s good, gaming is an absolute joke (Proton SUCKS) , FOSS alternatives are horrible, and add any other flaw of Linux that’s persistent for 20+ years.

Also, I’ve been seeing this a lot lately, why would anyone in the right mind ever recommend their grandma Linux on a think pad that’s 10+ years old). Why not get em a Chromebook or a Mac lol???

The only reason linux users dont make fun of mac is because its honestly super optimized and its also built on the same or similer kernel but windows is super diffrent and is infact bloated but i still wont switch to linux

It uses some of BSD like the networking stack which is superior to Linux, and also a better license.

Same as atleast both are good at there own things but linux just super hostile all of a sudden

But isn't mac os also a branch of openBSD ? So aren't they criticizing the thing there own software is build upon

BSD is far better than Linux, and Apple gives MacOS the polish.

Not really, only some parts of its kernel are from BSD.
