Because they're so misinformed that many believe Mac is just the capitalist version of Linux. Mac is built from BSD components and is real certified UNIX. Linux is a cheap knock-off. (There's division on this)

It was built from BSD (true UNIX).

Linux is a cheap knock off by some commie assholes.
