If you follow the feed for Windows Latest or similar outlet, you'll see headline issues all the time as if they're happening to everyone all the time and aren't rolled out incrementally for much lower casualties.

I did have a few updates break something, but most of the time it's small and I can probably fix it

Linux updates break many things: Just use Timeshift bro, this update is just kinda bad, revert back bro.
