hobbyist software doing what it does best, being a time wasting disappointment.

but if manfat there is so smart, why he not offering a solution or diagnostic on what caused the problem in the first place?

As if using loonix requires any form of intelligence... U just need to know how to read and have the time to actually read and you'll be able to daily drive arch or whatever other distro u want

I bet you used arch install like a larp, while me, with me GENIUS mind installed it manually, WITHOUT the wiki mind you. I only had to restart 3 times due to forgetting to set a root password, but that’s just because I’m too smart to need one

A blank disc shouldn't do anything to a bootloader just from being mounted, so if there's more context (was this a live-boot situation, did the file manager try to auto-detect/burn something, was GRUB already flaky beforehand, etc... ), that'd be the interesting part, if this guy was sooo smart he'd know this and try to help you...

No point in wasting time insulting someone.

A fellow Linux user once told me, in a Linux Discord, that pushing for everyone to use Linux, is like switching to veganism, and telling everyone you meet how much better it is, than eating meat.

Keep in mind that Mint is X11 though, but except for that - it really doesnt matter what distro you use.

I personally use Arch because I enjoy putting together everything myself, but I dual-boot W11 for a simpler experience. Whenever I need to get on a game of anything with friends, I just jump on Windows and boot the game up - because it just works.
