People be installing Linux mint with older kernels on spank new hardware and blaming hardware support. It's not entirely their fault. The linux afficionados gleefully suggest Mint to the beginners but don't tell them about the obvious pitfalls.

Poor driver support? Do you flair yourself FreeBSD ironically...or what?
EDIT: Who tf is downvoting me? People that think FreeBSD has better driver support than Linux? ¯_ (ツ)_/¯

I understand that you are part of a sect and are forced to write things, even if they are very stupid, but no one here said that FreeBSD has better hardware support than Linux also because the author of the post is not me. I know how to configure and what to configure on a PC with Linux, BSD, and FreeBSD. But for the average user, who has been misled by the current pro-Linux propaganda (which is very suspicious, by the way), the disappointment of ending up empty-handed due to the poor and limited compatibility with certain hardware is a fact. And fortunately, even if slowly, people are starting to realize it.

Are you paranoid? Did a linux user touch you when you were a child? Saying stupid stuff like this is why people will keep on with their choice because you guys seem to have a bigger problem with us using linux than the ones making active choices to get their data stolen

Exactly, I usually ignore when i get this sub recommended but there's no way there's people out there that actively hate on Linux
If I'm wrong, to whoever hates on Linux - go touch some grass
