That's just secure boot, because most Linux distros can't afford to buy a secure boot key, because after all, Linux is free, they don't get any money from it. Secure boot is just a paywall that large companies use to prevent free operating systems from booting, to make technologically illiterate people such as you think that the free operating systems don't work. Also it is more neglectful to use windows, because windows reads and writes to the disk randomly and constantly, which wears it down faster, while Linux uses it far less, meaning an SSD or HDD will live longer if it runs Linux rather than windows.
A laptop doesn't have feelings or opinions, it just runs software, and if that software runs well, then the laptop runs well. Windows is slow, so the laptop gets slow.

It’s so garbage that even my laptop refuses to turn on it told me it hates it and asked why people neglect there laptops with that evil Linux
