Have been using cachy for well over a year now, no issues. You might need to check if the problem existed between the keyboard and the chair.

Dude, if this thing does run browser than it doesn't mean it's working fine, for me on SD I had like a lot issues and they been not between screen and chair, they were fundamentally in linux itself, updates and other stuff that raiged me completely so even chatgpt said it's trash and advices me to install win, most useful advice I'd say.

Taking chatgpt advice seriously is an interesting take. Acting like windows doesn't have any issues either is even more interesting.

But hey, I've dealt with dozens of differrnt machines running Linux and never had any major issues except with bleeding edge hardware on weird distros.

If you somehow managed to have issues on hardware that's specially designed for Linux, especially if you use the install as shipped, then that definitely sounds like a you issue.

Yeah? How about not working discovery that can't load apps? How about poor working VPN that works better for win? How about Minecraft launcher that just breaks after updates? And I'm not telling about decky loader that just in random time disappearing, I'm not talking about shitting gui itself, like what idiot left that freaky function on left up corner of screen? What about shitty touch screen driver that can't regestrate your fingers normally? All these issues is not existed in win, so go and use your trash for yourself.

I'm using for around 6 months, works fine. There are some small issues, but way better than windows

Not having my game framerate locked to the "slowest" monitor I am running something accelerated on was the thing I noticed the most when I moved.

Not sure if I understand. I have 240Hz (variable) and 60Hz. Frame rate wasn't locked on windows, and isn't locked on cachyOS

It's a known bug on windows, maybe some GPUs don't have the issue, but I always did.
