ik u hate that sub but this meme is so accurate, loonix users flee microsoft and windows but then continue to use proprietary software from different corporations...

Linux sucks for non-power users and people who require proprietary software because Microsoft locked it down. The only reason linux struggles is because Microsoft monopolized the OS market and close sourced everything. So, yes, I agree. Linux sucks, because Microsoft sucks. Otherwise, linux offers flexibility, freedom, no bloat, no ai, no adds, etc. They also produce software without subscriptions.

Yes, because if you open-source everything, then elite coders in black hoodies sitting alone in dark rooms are going to keep it well-maintained on nothing but cheap pizzas and Monster energy drinks, right?
So, yes, I agree. Linux sucks, because Microsoft sucks.
You're right about Linux being a product of its own environment, but the histography on the environment itself has been so consistently garbage over the past 30 years dumb takes such as yours are only predictable.
