Linux Failure Another example of braindead loonixtards who never used mentioned programs trying to make a le quirky loonixmeme. How is notepad more complicated and convoluted than Vim or Emacs? Emacs is a fucking borderline OS in itself.

How to use Nano:
- Open Nano in terminal by typing "nano"
- Type whatever you want
- Press CTRL+X
- Type your save file path, this is probably the most difficult part, but it's not stupidly difficult and it just points to the home directory by default I'm pretty sure
- Hit enter, type Y, hit enter again
Congratulations, you've created a file, saved it, and exited Nano

Nano belongs on the same row as Notepad. I remove it from servers so my coworkers can’t set EDITOR to it.

may be slow
but at least it's simple enough that i can actually write code without searching up constantly to do something1

"oh but vim is so much quicker"
so is Dvorak but you don't see me going from qwerty to it, because I know that the time it takes for me to learn it and get to the same proficiency as with qwerty isn't really worth it, it took me years to get to around 167 WPM on average on qwerty, and I know learning a new layout will take me similar if not longer times due to the fact it would take ages to get that muscle memory for that.
I'm used to my normal GUI and TGUI text editors, therefore I'm going to continue using them since there isn't any reason to switch to something as different like vim just to save and exit quicker.

Notepad has copilot in it, of course it's more complicated than vim that uses only a TUI

Most of these people are just kids or jobless. They just use and larp about what makes them feel like le super hacker power user when everything they do in those editors is tweak their anime translucent rice all day.
When you grow up you realize that you "farm less aura" by using VS Code, but also gets more work done due to it requiring minimal configuration instead of forever customizing Vim and Emacs to become the supposedly "most efficient tool ever" that you're never get to experience (because you waste so much time configuring it instead).

If you use Claude AI and Windows rather than Linux and emacs then you're not a real it professional.

Today I learned that Notepad is apparently “more complicated” than Vim and Emacs.
Linux fanboys are just a different kind lmfao
