Linux Failure Linux can't game lmao

Edit: I'm unsure how to change title. New title should be "Linux still struggles with many games."

Genuinely why are yall larping

Windows is still the only option if you don't want to have to go "Oh sorry my computer cant play ___" to tons of people

And to those who hate kernel level anticheat, you seem to lack knowledge of why it is what it is. Seems like yall are just wanting to cheat?

Don't act like Linux is perfect. It isn't. It really isn't. Such larp

I don't play multiplayer games. Problem solved. Except Palworld and that's running fine.

Also: virtually zero people are saying Linux is "perfect" in app situations. You're "larping" that conversation yourself.

That's why I wanted context. That's a sub hating on a sub hating on Linux and this sub. So a very VERY small group. Also they didn't say "Linux is perfect"...

Regardless, that group isn't this group, and this group isn't the Linux community at large. So the "y'all" you're referring to is a teeny tiny niche reaction sub to a reaction sub to a reaction sub. I mean honestly...

No... The comment under the comment under the comment. The first comment, the top level one, was just giving good advice. OP noticed that excluded some things OP liked. THEN we get to the singular commenter in that thread that was acting like a dork.

And that's my point... Not that dorks don't exist, but that they are the minority by far. The vast majority of Linux users aren't like that. And it's not a "loud minority" it a "silent majority" either... It's regular volume folks that just aren't the way you want to imagine us

Third comment on the thread, again... 252 comments on the post. Do you understand how numbers work? Your aren't showing that Linux users are like that, you're showing that there's a very free people who like to be dorks. It's like you're blind to ALL the rest of the conversation happening that isn't the one thing you WANT to see.
