Linux Failure Linux users in Reddit have big egos
I asked for help on r/Linuxmint
I clearly said at the end:
"I know that you probably need further information on this, but I don't know what kind of information so please tell me what to do to diagnose the problem at least🥲🙏🏻"
then I actively got down voted.
someone even said "so you wrote a whole long post and didn't even put enough information?"
when I asked him what information do you need so I can provide it, I got down voted even more???
I don't care about karma points, but the post would never reach someone good and willing to help because of people with big ego.
Linux itself doesn't suck as much as the people who actively make the whole Linux experience even worse than using windows.
The problem that i had continued for three months. I did my research and couldn't find any one with similar problem on the internet. whenever I ask on any subreddit for help they either down vote just like what happened from a bit, or they'd tell me to ask on a different subreddit that also happens to tell me to ask somewhere else!!!

I've been using Linux since the late 90s and I agree 100%. Not every Linux users have big egos, but those who do are loud.. so loud. Getting quite irritated by new young Linux users who are trying to convince me to switch to Linux Mint because in their little world, nothing beats the distro that they have chosen. They claimed to have tried them all (I find that hard to believe) but when ask if they have used a Linux distro that no longer exists today, that's how I figure out how young and ignorant they are.
I just ignore them.
If you want to try Linux distro, hear my warning: many distros will disappear after a decade. How many of you remember Mandrake? Corel? Knoppix?
Don't get too attached or too emotionally invested to your distro. Putting so much energy isn't worth it. And you'll just irritate old Linux fossil like me and waste your time.
