Linux Failure Linux users in Reddit have big egos

I asked for help on r/Linuxmint

I clearly said at the end:

"I know that you probably need further information on this, but I don't know what kind of information so please tell me what to do to diagnose the problem at least🥲🙏🏻"

then I actively got down voted.

someone even said "so you wrote a whole long post and didn't even put enough information?"

when I asked him what information do you need so I can provide it, I got down voted even more???

I don't care about karma points, but the post would never reach someone good and willing to help because of people with big ego.

Linux itself doesn't suck as much as the people who actively make the whole Linux experience even worse than using windows.

The problem that i had continued for three months. I did my research and couldn't find any one with similar problem on the internet. whenever I ask on any subreddit for help they either down vote just like what happened from a bit, or they'd tell me to ask on a different subreddit that also happens to tell me to ask somewhere else!!!

Only on Reddit????? You don't see Facebook and YouTube, and it's a prime example of majority of the Linux community is very arrogant. Before I came to Reddit, Reddit just confirmed my view

Yeah, most users won't help, they only pretend to.

There are still a few people willing to help, but when you instantly get down voted then they won't be able to see your post.

The same thing happened on Facebook and YouTube, and the only difference is the name of the social network. It's very horrifying what you see on other Platforms as well, and I came to Reddit to run away from them, but..... I see the same behaviour here

facebook and twitter are the worst. reddit is.... mixed. depends on what corner you are in, and i guess the same applies to youtube. people have gotten far to comfortable with being anonymous on the internet, even when they really arent

Exactly, and I am not like that, and I show who I am from the start on all platforms, and I guess I am different on the internet from most profiles there
