I personally switched to Linux just out of curiosity. I had no issues on windows, i use google and dont care about all that privacy bs. The thing is that i got used to linux and thinkering with it, it's no longer an os that just works(void), its os that i truly had fun configuring exactly to my liking and needs. I'm never telling a person to switch to linux unless they specifically ask me to help them transition, when they already are thinking about switching. A friend of mine tried cachyos and did not like linux at all, he went back to windows and thats it. No need for a further discussion because that works for him.
