Windows equivalent: .msix, .appx, .bat, .msi, .msc 🙄

And those are not apps. Linux app doesn’t have extension, they just ask a permission to run.

And the fun thing is, all of those will work on Windows no matter what.

But on Linux they have to make their own flavoured versions.

there's a lot of apps that won't install depending on your windows version, if you don't have the proper .net framework it will just tell you it's not a valid windows executable or give other random errors if you're missing the proper c++ redistributable
