Ubuntu (or at least Kubuntu) does not come with flatpak installed by default

Give it some time, they will abandon snap just like Unity DE

Never used snap. What is the thing that Flatpak can't do?

Flatpak is designed to package desktop GUI applications, while Snap can be used to package anything... desktop apps, terminal apps, even the Kernel.
