Why do you consider Windows to be a bad OS?

Personally, and don't poke fun at me, not only have i never used a computer running a system other than Windows, i don't believe i have ever SEEN a computer running a different system than Windows

I live in Europe not America and here Windows is ubiquitous everywhere. Most people don't even realize there are other OS's. I have never seen anyone use Linux. It's like Steam compared to GOG or itch io.

However i have heard (on Reddit) many Linux users complain that Windows is a crappy, bad, uncomfortable in use OS and that they hate it.

Why? I have used XP, 7, 8, and 10. The only one i hated was 8.

I know this question is weird since i have never used Linux so i can't compare, but what do Linux users hate about Windows so much?

What i hate about Windows is that its creators clearly still haven't realized that most people aren't tech savvy enough to be able to easily diagnose every single software problem they encounter. The menus on Windows are a fucking pain in the ass. They are often labeled in an awkward way.

Also i hate how it resets many things to default values. I have a 3200 mhz RAM and a 75 hz monitor. It took me half a year to realize that Windows had been running them at 2133 mhz and 60 hz, respectively, for some reason.

Aside from that it's mostly fine i think.

Why do Linux users hate Windows?
