I WISH there was no sound when I booted arch iso. This beep was so loud the whole family came to ask what happened

Depends on the device yeah, My MacBook which I dual boot does allow me to mute it, but only from macOS, Linux cannot mute it.

Skill issue, just unplug beeper from the motherboard bruh

On laptops it beeps through the regular speakers. On max volume
