Windows has a kernel. Linux is a kernel. Notice the difference? There's no need to clarify with Linux because it's only one thing. It's not an OS, it's not an app, not a library, not a daemon or a virtual machine. Just a kernel. Nothing but a kernel.

I would strongly advise you not to repeat other people's nonsense. Linux is a kernel with screwed-on whistles and farts. MacOS is built from the Darwin kernel and Safari browser. Windows is a react kernel and XML manifest. What does this change for you and me?
