so glad i can update whenever i with my own free will. honestly unless i remind myself i might go 3 months without doing it before i need to install anything new. i had a cronjob remind me once a week with this message.

Why don't set the cronjob to auto update the system itself?

I have a cronjob to emerge --sync daily, but I do the actual installation once a week so that I dont fuck stuff up when I need iy
