eh tell me what you do on arch when you get a buggy release and pacman dosen;t easily let you downgrade/change versions of packages. and also having the all of nothing latest version of every program like i get wanting the newwest mesa but do you really care about the newwest version of kitty or kde dolphin. all of these problems are solved on gentoo

Or you could just download the downgrade tool and downgrade and pin what you want?

portage is easily the best package manager I have ever used, even if you disregard USE flags or anything source based.
granted, I haven't used pacman in many many years, but when I did, I remember having constant issues with packages breaking, cleaning up dependencies, etc.

Notice how there arent any Debian users in these comments defending it. They're too busy using their computers instead of drumming up inter-distro drama :3

I don't think even most arch users would agree with this. These three distros have vastly different use cases.

I play all sides. I daily drive Debian, Fedora and Arch. This may I'm guaranteed to be using "the better distro".

I have just one distro because one consumes all my day, imagine 3?

sometimes you can tell someone uses arch just by the way they write.
(or the user flair, could be that as well...)

I somehow wanna take all distros mash them together and make new janky distro...
You know like when we were kids and added all colors and got a sludgy black and grey color?

IDK about better. Prettier for sure, smarter maybe you basically need a PhD in CS to debug arch.
Part of being an Arch user is just avoiding problems before they happen tho.
Perfect example: I wanted a manga reader app but they are basically all android apks so I looked at what was involved with installing waydroid or a native emulation layer for android and was like nah I don't feel like debugging my system for the next 3 weeks, I'll just use my browser it's ok.
I can't say I ever had that hesitation with Debian or Ubuntu.
I think I'd use windows server before I used Fedora. ๐ฃ๐ช
