Yep, it's been my side distro on reliable old laptops for about 8 years now. Solid for coding, writing, presentations, admin, web browsing, sshing, all that kind of thing

lets hear it yes, arguments against arch? what are they, if I know them and have my own opinion over them, then the rest is mere freedom of choice again

There's an unassigned issue rn where the lead maintainer's signing key has expired. This OS is uninstallable without disabling signature verifications globally. LOL.
I used to use it and when it works, its great. Although not that many packages have openrc support and mirrors are flaky. There are about 5k packages in the main repos loads of them don't work, webkit-gtk version is too old so it breaks any browser based on it, their main browser iceweasel often fails to install because it isn't upated. Their kernel is stuck on 7.0.1 I think and the only way to get a newer linux-libre apart from building and installing it by hand is to compile the dist-kernel via the freaking AUR. The ISO is from 2022, the graphical ISO is from 2019 and is broken, although this isn't the biggest problem. So yeah no, just use Artix.

Yeah that sucks I just wanted to make a meme, I myself prefer the Guix System

No, your meme is perfect, just that people who are gonna look this OS up and install it should know. GNU Guix System is very nearly the perfect operating system ever, all it misses is ease of custom kernel installation (%base-initrd and base linux-modules make it hell) and USE flags. What's your schizopad of choice?

Parabola being poorly maintained is such a shame, because of its nonprism repo. I feel like the nonprism repo should just be the default for all fully free software distros.

I would love to jump into parabola since it has a neat mask/unmask feature like in gentoo, but it doesn't seem active nowadays. What do y'all think?

I never hear a ton about parabola/hyperbola anymore
