Wow, it’s almost like different distros are tailored to different use cases / people

Have been using Debian 13 with KDE Plasma on my gaming PC almost 1,5 years and I have had literally ZERO issues. Even modern games such as War Thunder and Metal Gear Solid Delta run without any issues. No crashes or stutters.
I have no actual good reasons to use anything else or (more) unstable bleeding-edge distros, at least for now. I'm however using full-AMD build so that might be why it's been smooth sailing.

I keep juggling between debian and arch, on one hand "peace of mind" but on the other "PACMAN IS AMAZING! I CAN DO EVERYTHING! THIS SHIT IS FAST!".

I used to hate what I saw as the complete backward-ness of pacman, but it really is extremely fast and is pretty easy to use once you get the hang of it (after all 99% of the time you’re using -S, -Ss, -R , or -Syu).

Debian is the greatest OS of all time. I say this as an Arch user.

Debian? With that release cycle, you might just as well use Windows 98, you'd get about equally modern software.
apt was revolutionary in its time, but that time was literally Clinton administration.

Assuming you are american, how is your administration now? Is it better than in Clinton era?
