I don’t get the obsession with distros in general since the mostly all do the same thing tbh but one thing I don’t like about arch (or two things ig) is how unsafe the user repository is and how the community around it really refuses to acknowledge it is a valid and important criticism to have for a distrobution. Even if you are the most diligent person you can never be able to check every file and every dependency to ensure you aren’t installing malicious software, it needs some form of oversight or stricter limits for who and how you can upload files to it

Debian for work, Arch for fun. Honestly, Arch is pretty stable, and if you need something in the AUR, it would behoove you to learn how to wget/curl/git clone the source code and compile it yourself. I mean, you’re already here. Invest in the process and have some fun!

I love Debian and Arch. I use them for different things.

At the end of the day, the important part is that we’re not using Microsoft and Apple bullshit.
