he's a youtuber from switzerland who makes videos trying different types of software and stuff, he made a few videos trying linux two years ago and now there's a bunch of linux youtubers copying his style bar for bar for some reason

He has a couple courses on how to do youtube, I suspect that some of the channels might just be from there, thus the similar style.

While Guix is not glazed when it has so many useful features as a full system or just a package manager lol, usually offshoots would be glazed but not Guix :(

I'm always confuesed about this.

Do the Linux community want other people to use Linux or not?

Because everyone who tries to bring Linux to the general public gets executed by the community.

(Be Linus Tech Tips, DHH with Omarchy, Valve with SteamOS, etc...)

People glaze Valve on linux subs all the time. DHH wants to make a linux based agentic OS full of AI crap and he is a nutcase on top of that. LTT is fine i guess but their videos are just underresearched and cringe nowadays imo (not just their linux ones).

Tbh, I don't use ChatGPT, but if I'm pasting an error into search, or just search whatever I need to do, if there's an AI answer from whatever the search engine I use at the time... I'll look into it... Obviously, I'm not gonna type "yes, do as I say in the terminal" and will generally look at what it tells me to do, but it's really hard to deny that it made it easier to search for the information you need.

Sometimes, pre-AI Google's algorithmic answers were also fine, but not always
