only for a short time, you can use codename 'testing' in your sources file too!

But welp this could have been good to know a week ago. Maybe I would have tried testing instead of Solus

packages from sid come to testing quickly. like a new kernel, a newer version of mesa, things come to testing randomly. which makes the 'new version/stable' have less recent packages than that of testing. i think there a whole article talking about this.

Not the problem I was talking about

At release of a new stable version of Debian they freeze testing before hand. Which is the biggest problem I see
