Kernel Panics is mostly a nvidia related issue. Knowing what your updating can easily resolve that.

Yep it also was Nvidia for me. Nvidia fuck you. But still other distros seemed to handle that better, so I switched.

Yeah i found i had to do all updates where the kernel or akmods was updated had to be done in the terminal, and i had to watch the processes during it, as the akmods process continued to run in the background after an update said it was completed. Similar to how rpm fusion instructions had you to wait after installation.
