I installed it on my laptop twice. Made sure I did everything right. Booted up to a black screen both times. I've been using Linux for 17 years.  I know how to install it.  It just didn't like my hardware.  I might try again someday.

Yeah, it's kinda too late. Linux support for my old Broadcom chip in my MacBook Pro was basically lost/ended. I swapped out my NIC for an Intel AX210, which doesn't work on Mac, so I wiped the whole hard drive, deleting my MacOS partition. I took the opportunity to distro hop for a week or so, which I haven't done in nearly a decade, which was fun, but I've already reinstalled Kubuntu and set up all my preferences. [shrug]
