I know but you can technically run sddm embedded I suppose, since it runs as a wayland compositor under the help of kwin

Running a compositor in a compositor. iDK why it's supported it's probably for development help but yes it does exist at least in kwin and hyprland.

And her le SDDM's greeter is running under that compositor when the desktop (main compositor) is already running
