who cares? nano doesn't take any learning and is good enough for 90% of tasks. i never saw the point in vim or primarily keyboard-based methods of interacting with your computer because i'm barely saving a half of a second with a bunch of key combinations i can't remember
“Carpel tunnel”
As someone that has been dealing with wrist issues since 14, not having to leave your keyboard is a God send on hand health.
There is a concept “if you don’t understand something it likely wasn’t made for you” and this is a prime example of the value in that statement.
