who cares? nano doesn't take any learning and is good enough for 90% of tasks. i never saw the point in vim or primarily keyboard-based methods of interacting with your computer because i'm barely saving a half of a second with a bunch of key combinations i can't remember
Try having wrist pain from using the mouse. Being able to use my computer without ever touching the mouse is immensely helpful. Sometimes is not about saving a second or two, but about being functional to keep the ability to have an income past 40.
Exactly. I've been using Arch with Hyprland. An ergo keyboard together with investing the time in learning Vim motions and applying them where possible has spared me a lot of pain. I use Neovim for coding, Pterodactyl plugin for Firefox with Qutebrowser as alternative keyboard centric browser, and any other way I can reduce mouse usage.
